Inspiration strikes again! I decided to write in style of fun science fiction novels I enjoy reading. The characters always have strange quirks that make them lovable. For the record I do remind myself but I derive little satisfaction from it haha.
Eric spoke to himself. Sometimes out loud but usually in his mind: reminders, always reminders. It's not that he was forgetful but Eric enjoyed the satisfaction of reminding himself of things yet completed. It's like the feeling you get after accomplishing a goal. Except in this case Eric accomplished a reminder to remind himself. He believed everything was "betta with meta."
Glued to the screen of his smartphone it's light cast a blue-ish light over his somewhat round build. Years of studying at university and living off KD had turned him into a thoughtful and slow-moving person. Eric's physical appearance beguiled those that did not know him, if you managed to wake him from his screen-slumber he became a tsunami of energy.
