Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead. -- Mac McCleary
I recently had an interesting discussion on twitter. I offered an alternative solution to the problem of congestion on the 401 and it wasn't well-received. My knowledge in the areas of urban planning and traffic engineering is very limited. My knowledge of public goods, taxes and general microeconomics is a little better. Although I am uncertain if highways can be considered a public good because it can be rivalrous at times! Of course I had valid points and will readily share said points with you because I'm that passionate about it.
Fellow people of lower income, I got your back! I now put the question to you, my friends, should there be a fee to use the 401?
