Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.
University starts off like a roller coaster. All those feel-good warm feelings of excitement, change, possibility and freedom. There's always uncertainty too but if you manage to find your way, it can feel uplifting. Changing my undergraduate degree major from something stable and promising to something riskier without a clear direction was hard. Without risk there is no reward and that saying holds true. Douglas Adams wrote I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
I felt invigorated from my life-changing epiphany, a potential career and a job that fits that profile! Struck by lightning applies perfectly, serendipitous and electrifying. I am struck and energized.
One step must start each journey and I now have a destination.
Graduation here I come!
